Does Anyone Have an Agnes Dei?
I know it is a prayer cloth sewn by the nuns out of wool or cloth, and blessed by the pope. It was done maybe 50 years ago, and people put it in their homes.
Does anyone know the purposes of it?
I’m 62 and was raised Catholic, and I never heard of it. Agnus Dei Quuitolis Pecata Mundi, donna nobis pacem or Agnus Dei quitolis pecata mundi, donna eis requiem. They are alternative Gregorian chants – the first one translates – Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, grant us peace. The second translates – Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, grant him peace.
