Food Egg
After a brief respite, has anyone else noticed the price of food creeping up?
Our budget does not cover what it used to. Mostly fresh foods, eggs, milk, produce.
respite? when food jumped 50% with gas, and went back 25% when gas went all the way back down. Now heading back up.
Jim S, creepy isn’t it, the primary producer, and more often the middle man, have their hands in our pockets. With respect to the producer, the hours he puts in and the return he gets does not balance, he has to produce a hell of a lot and get it to market fresh, before he thinks of turning a profit. It’s those big smoke stack processors, that make the greatest profit.
